Spirit:  Mewomuh, did U heer that noise?

Inkee:  He didn't heer anything or C anything 'cause there isn't anything.

Spirit:  I'm talkin' 2 Meowmuh! Quit grindin' UR teeth! Drives me nuts!

Inkee: UR the reason I grind my teeth!

Spirit: The vet says UR the only cat she's ever seen that grinds his teeth.

Inkee:  Well, she doesn't live with U 24/7.

Spirit:  Did you hear that? There's somethin' up those stairs.

Inkee:  UR always hearin' noise upstairs. Always!

Spirit:  No, sireee. I know I heard it. Will U puh-lease listen?  

Inkee:  I'm listening. U hear & C stuff that isn't there, like a schizo. Or maybe Spirit sees spirits. His name's Spirit so...I dunno, sigh.

Inkee-Bear: "What's this? Do U go under it? Do U push it? There's 2 many balls..."

I watched Olympics 2016. I'm training now 4 2020 -- the 'Tower of Tracks' event. The Gold Medal goes to the cat-lete who keeps ALL 3 balls rolling continuously 4 the longest time. It takes technique, practice & focus. U can C I have all 3 of those! I can win, I know I can. Yes I can! Yes I can! ! Si puedo! Si puedo!

No, Spirit! That's not the way to win!! Diving & skidding at the "Tower of Tracks" & flopping on your side next to it are not good techniques! You have to be next to the Tower when the competition starts & you have to stay there. You might be fast but you don't listen & you're obviously a klutz. U embarrass us all. Sigh.

We're benched & waitin' for torture. I'm in the middle. We don't need our nails trimmed or shots. We were happy & healthy when we woke up this morning. Now our day's ruined!! You know me. I spit, hiss, growl & yowl. I feel a hissy-fit comin' on! The other dummies go along with the program. Not me!  No siree!!!

Why do we have to go to the vet today? We're ok. There's too much noise out here in front of our house! Everyone's goin' to work!? Why don't you go to work? We'll stay home & watch the house for you like we always do. You're retired? You don't go to work anymore? So now you have time to make us go to the vet? That's just not fair!! 

Does anyone here want to go to the vet? Raise your paw if you do! See?  We don't wanna' go...not even for a minute! Treats don't help. Quit sayin' everything will be ok. It won't!  We say: "Just Say No" to: ridin' in the car, takin' our temperature, lookin' at our teeth,  gettin 'shots & our nails trimmed.'  No, no, no.

August 17 is Black Cat Appreciation Day? Black Cats are the best! We hide better in the shadows, we're curious but laid back, & we play harder & purr louder. Me? I'm a lap cat. I'm with Meowmuh now. She's watching the Olympics. She's clapping & cheering for the athletes. Our photographer friend, Jose Uribe, took this pic of me. Lookin' good aren't I?

Aug. 8th was International Cats' Day? Who knew? Were we supposed to get special treatment? We didn't. Stroller ride? No, too hot. Dinner? Two hours late! Meowmuh was watching the Olympics. She was focused on the girls' gymnastics team. What does USA! USA! mean? She did get us a new toy...I guess that was 'special.'

Denise of sunnydogink.com shows us a microchip...like a piece of rice. In the 2nd pic, Denise shows where it is injected. When you see your vet, ask to be scanned to be sure your chip still reads. We saw a real cute kitten on TV that was paralyzed when a chip was injected into its spinal cord by mistake. A vet operated & he could walk again! Phew.

See my yellow tag? It means I'm microchipped. I don't know what an earhquake or fire is...but Meowmuh says our house might fall down & we might run away like little scardy cats. If we lose our collars with our home phone #'s, then we're in real troub! You know we can't tell hoomans where we live or how to reach Meowmuh. Our microchip does it for us.

Wowee! Meowmuh's takin' my picture in our cat tree!! She laughs when I act silly. But I can't let the others see me bein' silly. I'm the oldest so I have to be the boss. I'm not really mean but I can't be a pushover either. I don't like anyone messin' with me or tryin' to bully me -- like Spirit & especially Inkee-Bear!!

Do U purr when U have UR pic taken? I do. We've been cat nappin. Spirit's at the top...Gracee & I R in the middle...as usual. Spirit & Inkee-Bear fight 4 the top. If Spirit gets the top first, Inkee-Bear starts nipping @ Spirit until he cries & jumps down. If Meowmuh is there, Inkee-Bear is good. But as soon as she leaves, Inkee-Bear starts again! The Bear is SO bad!

All 4 of us are "tree'd," so to speak. We love Cat Trees! Spirit's on top, Gracee is below me and Inkee-Bear? He's in the tube @ the bottom of our tree. He's on spider-watch. Gracee says that's a good place for him. You can't see him but he's there. I know he's there 'cause he makes funny noises when he sleeps.
