I am tail-thumpin' mad!!!  My buddies Ken & Fran aren't visiting us this year! They went to another yard or country or somethin' like that & Ken got real sick. Usually I sleep on top of the rug but sometimes, I hide under it.  My goofy brother, Inkee-Bear, always pesters me.  He makes me soooo mad!  Grrrrr.  Hsssss.  Click on the "Hiding" article to the right.

Spirit:  "Wait!  What?  Did someone say girls?  No? So, 'scuse me while I finish grooming."

See?  We ALL groom after our dry food treat.  That's me under the dining room chair, Spirit near the stairs and Sophee on the stairs.  I don't know where Inkee-Bear is.  Knowing him, he's still  in the kitchen, scarfing up the last of our treats.  Read Meowmuh's MEW 'N NEWS Article on grooming.

Meowmuh says I have a serious case of displacement behavior because I groom so much. She thinks I'm too anxious. You would be too if you had to keep my younger sibs in line! Read her MEWS 'N NEWS Article on "Grooming."

We calicos have patches.  Meowmuh says calicos can be almost any breed and we are almost always female.  Me?  My breed?  A straight-eared Scottish Fold. See Meowmuh's Mews 'N News Article about us calicos called "Calico Cats."

Meowmuh says I am the happiest cat she has ever seen.  And, I am.  I am Calico and, if I purr loud enough, maybe Meowmuh will put that camera down and brush me.  Just thinking about getting brushed makes me purr.

I watch everyone & everything. I still look for my first, favorite & only older brother, Tigger. Meowmuh says he was SO sick & had to 'cross over the bridge.'  Read Meowmuh's Mews 'N News Article: "Cancer:  Mast Cell Tumors."

My big brother, Tigger, looks so sad!  It's hard to come down the stairs with that 'thing' around his neck.  He just had his third tumor removed.  He lived 5 more years. He taught me important stuff like when & where to hide.  I miss him.

What if it is two in the afternoon?  You want me to move?  Wait, I'm still wakin' up. (Yawn)  OK, OK.  Don't have a hissy fit!  Let me finish cleanin' my paws....What?! Leapin' Whiskers!!  Did you see that? She didn't even touch the railing!

Should I just ignore it?  I'll be nonchalant & they won't notice the tape. My bro, Spirit, is more interested in the garbage truck backing up outside than in helping me.  Oops, grooming's a problem. Sigh.  What to do, what to do? Meowmuh?
