Meet Spirit
I am Spirit, the youngest, strongest, most intense and active of all the cats in my family. I am a silver Egyptian Mau with black spots weighing in at just less than 13 pounds. I was born in November 2012 in Wichita, Kansas; I flew from there to my forever home in Los Angeles. Life is so exciting, isn’t it? Spirit: What does 'TEASE' mean? Inkee-Bear: It means to 'tantalize by arousing curiosity.' So, the 'CatTail TEASER' is a purr-dee purr-fect toy for us cats cause, as all 2 & 4-legged critters know, we cats are VERY curious. Yes, indeedy.
Meowmuh likes this toy cause there's no parts for us to break off & swallow. It's called THE CatTail TEASER. They come in different colors. I know the girls, Gracee & Sophee, will love it. They're super pouncers & jumpers.
Spirit: Hey, what's this? Inkee-Bear: Dunno.' Somethin' in a package. You sniff it; I'll lick it. What does it say it is? Spirit: It's upside down! I don't read 'upside down.' Inkee-Bear: You don't read period! Ask Meowmuh -- she got it for us at CatConLA2018. She says it's a toy.
Hi to all! The beam isn't my fav place. It's definitely Sophee's. She's on it all the time. Anytime someone walks in the door, Sophee runs up the stairs to the beam. She sits there & watches whoever & whatever goes on below.
Wait, just wait a friggin' minute. Which is it? "What you can't see WON'T hurt you" or is it "What you can't see WILL hurt you?" Guess it doesn't really matter. Still can't see. Sigh. Inkee-Bear has the most gy-normous, humungous paws of any cat I've ever seen which brings me back to -- I can't see!
Hey, Inkee-Bear, I can't see. Hello, Spirit to Inkee-Bear, can you hear me? I can't see. I said I can't see. Will you please remove your paw from my face? Sigh. He must be sound asleep. When Inkee-Bear sleeps, he sleeps. Meowmuh says he's a 'serious' sleeper. Will someone, anyone, please wake him up? Just open the freezer door.
Yadda, yadda, yadda. So Wednesday will be Inter-whatever Cat Day? Oh, International Cat Day. Big deal. I get fed, brushed, played with & loved every day anyway. Besides, you've interrupted my nap. Have a good day whenever, wherever & whoever you are. ZZZZZZ.
Spirit: I'm warnin' all you 2 & 4-legged critters out there. There's a real bad day comin' up--the 4 of somethin' or other. There's loud bangs and booms. They're so loud it made my ears twirl & my whiskers curl--and that's bad, real bad. Meowmuh helped us with music and calming spray. Know the most important thing? She stayed home with us.
Spirit: Come back here, Inkee. I've been thinking. Inkee: Miracles never cease. Spirit: We did the 4 thing before. Inkee: Yep. Spirit: I was scared. Inkee: Yes, you were. Meowmuh turned the music on loud & she sprayed Feliway to keep us calm.
Spirit: Meowmuh's talkin' 'bout 4. The 4 of us? Inkee: Nope. Spirit: There's 4 cat trees; I counted. Inkee: Glad you can count. Spirit: Well, what then? Inkee: The 4th of July. Spirit: What's that? Inkee: Independence Day.
