OK.  It worked. Told ya' it'd work.  My hooman says we can go outside now. But I have to be either in our secured stroller or on a leash & wear this harness thing. But I don't want to be seen in this flowery, hoody getup. How embarrassing. If I gotta' wear something, then at least get me something that expresses me, the REAL me -- something more manly if you get my drift.

I'm watchin' my hooman from our loft. I told her that I want to go outside!  She said no -- she's busy -- hoomans say things like that. So, I wanna' see just how busy she really is!  Know what I mean? So, I'm watchin' & puttin' on my best 'sad sack' face -- it works sometimes. The object is to make her feel bad, real bad -- & guilty. I'm sure I can do it. I've done it before.

Don't mean to turn my back on you but I wanted you to see my new collar. It has shamrocks on it -- our hooman says she saw it, thought about my green eyes & knew she had to get it for me, her fav feline. Well, I am. Inkee-Bear says I'm NOT her fav -- it's just that I'm the baby/youngest of our pack so she has to look out for me. But I can take care of myself if you know what I mean.

They do what on Saint Patrick's Day? They drink green beer? They turn a river green?  Nah -- & if you believe that - well, you get my drift. Everyone wears green? Why? So they don't get pinched? Yikes. Well, I won't get pinched. I have green eyes -- all us Maus have green eyes. Oh, my new collar has green on it -- as a matter of fact, it has shamrocks on it.

In our house, we're  'going green' on March 17!  Are you? It's Saint Patrick's Day!  An Irish Holiday!  We like Holidays. As you can see, our hooman has Saint Patrick Day plates & napkins. We're ready to party or, as we cats pronounce it, purr-dee!  

Our hooman saw this cartoon & thought it was purrfect for our blog. She had to pay for it -- or it could be a copywrong issue -- no, I mean a copyright issue. Just 'cause I'm sittin' on my hooman's tax receipts, you might think that I'm bothering or 'taxing' her. But I'm not. I'm tryin' to help her stay calm, cool & collected. She just said:  "OK, Spirit. No catio this year -- the possibility of getting the usual/any tax return is diminishing. Sorry, little guy."  That's depressing. She knows how I love to go outdoors.

Wow!  This day before Valentine’s Day has been exhausting! Teddy bears, hearts, bah-loons, ribbons—I’m plum wore out if you see what I’m sayin’. I need to get some serious sleep time in so I’ll be all handsome for tomorrow — Valentine’s Day. If the neighbor’s cats don’t come over, I’m gonna’ call Auntie Rika’s cats  — Lucy & Mikey. They’ll be my Valentines furr shure! Have a fun day. 

I’ve been waiting to ask the neighbor’s cat to be my Valentine. But she never showed. My hooman says it’s because it’s been raining — cats don’t like rain. I wouldn’t know. Me? I’m an indoor cat — except when my hooman takes me out in the stroller. Well, I can at least wish YOU — Happy Valentine’s Day!
